Fort Massac State Park is easily accessible from Interstate 24. Take Exit 37 and head west on Route 45 towards Metropolis. Follow Route 45 for approximately 2 miles, then turn left into the park. The park is well-signed. Parking is available throughout the park. There are no fees for parking.

From downtown Metropolis, Fort Massac State Park is a pleasant walk. Head east on 5th Street. The park entrance is located at the end of 5th Street. The walk is approximately one mile and takes about 20 minutes. There are sidewalks along 5th Street.
