Walking
Start from the Agartala Railway Station. Exit the station and head south towards the main road. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the City Center Road. Turn left onto City Center Road and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Chandra Mahal Road. Here, turn right onto Chandra Mahal Road. Walk straight for about 300 meters, and you will see the entrance to Rajbari Lake Garden on your left.
Auto-rickshaw
From anywhere in Agartala, you can take an auto-rickshaw to Rajbari Lake Garden. Simply tell the driver 'Rajbari Lake Garden' or 'Chandra Mahal Road'. The fare should be around 20-30 INR depending on your starting location. The driver will take you through the main roads of Agartala. Ensure you keep an eye out for landmarks such as the Agartala City Center or the Tripura University, as those are good references to make sure you're headed in the right direction. The auto-rickshaw will drop you off at the entrance of the garden.
Public Bus
If you're near the Agartala Bus Stand, you can take a local bus that heads towards Indranagar. Look for buses labeled 'Indranagar' or 'Palace Compound'. The bus fare is generally very affordable, around 10-15 INR. Once you board, inform the conductor that you are going to Rajbari Lake Garden. The bus will drop you off at a stop near the entrance of the garden. From there, you may need to walk a short distance of about 100 meters to reach the main entrance.
