Once you arrive, the museum will be on your left side.

From Agra, you can take a train to Mathura Junction. Head to Agra Cantt railway station, which is well-connected via local transport. Purchase a ticket to Mathura Junction; the journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Mathura Junction, you can take an auto-rickshaw or a cycle rickshaw to the Government Museum. Just inform the driver of the destination as 'Museum Rd, Dampier Nagar, Mathura.' The museum is approximately 3 km from the station.
Bus
You can also take a bus from Agra to Mathura. Head to the Agra Bus Stand and look for buses heading to Mathura. The journey should take around 1 hour. When you reach Mathura Bus Stand, hire an auto-rickshaw to reach the Government Museum. Inform the driver to take you to 'Museum Rd, Dampier Nagar, Mathura.' The museum is about 4 km from the bus stand.
