Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are staying near the Agra Fort, exit the fort and head southeast on Fort Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Taj Road. Take a left onto Taj Road and walk for approximately 2.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to the Taj Mahal complex. Follow the signs until you reach the main entrance of the Taj Mahal. The Taj Museum is located inside the complex, just to the left after entering the gate.

  • Cycle Rickshaw

    From the bustling area of Sadar Bazaar, hire a cycle rickshaw. Tell the rickshaw puller to take you to the Taj Mahal. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Ask them to drop you off at the Taj Mahal entrance, and from there, you can walk to the Taj Museum, which is just inside the complex to the left.

  • Auto Rickshaw

    If you are near the Railway Station, take an auto rickshaw to the Taj Mahal. Inform the driver of your destination, and the ride should take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Taj Mahal entrance, you will need to purchase a ticket to enter. After entering, the Taj Museum will be on your left side.
