Walking
From the center of Rakabganj, head south on Fatehabad Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Taj Road. You will see directional signs for the Taj Mahal. Turn left onto Taj Road and follow the signs. The entrance to the Taj Mahal will be on your right.
Cycle Rickshaw
If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a cycle rickshaw from any point in Rakabganj. The fare to the Taj Mahal typically costs around 50 to 100 INR, depending on your starting point. Agree on the price before starting your ride. The rickshaw will take you directly to the East Gate of the Taj Mahal, which is the most popular entry point.
Auto Rickshaw
You can also take an auto rickshaw from Rakabganj to the Taj Mahal. The fare ranges from 150 to 250 INR based on traffic conditions. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand. The auto rickshaw will drop you off at the entrance, which is conveniently located near the East Gate.
Local Bus
For a more economical option, you can take a local bus from Rakabganj to the Taj Mahal. Buses frequently run from key stops in Rakabganj to the Taj Mahal area. The fare is usually around 10 to 20 INR. Get off at the closest bus stop to the Taj Mahal, which is within walking distance of the entrance.
