Husain, the gallery is an underground structure resembling a cave, housing Husain's murals and art. The architecture draws inspiration from ancient caves like those at Ajanta and Ellora, as well as natural forms such as tortoise shells and soap bubbles. The structure is made of interconnected domes covered in mosaic tiles, creating a play of light and shadow inside. Irregular, tree-like columns support the domes, contributing to the cave-like ambiance. The interior space has no straight walls, enhancing the feeling of being in a natural cave.Built by unskilled tribal laborers using hand tools, the gallery utilizes ferrocement to create its undulating walls and domes.
