Taxi
From Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, a taxi is the most convenient way to reach Sadda Pind. Taxis are readily available at the airport. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes, covering a distance of about 7 km. Expect to pay around ₹680-₹990 for a sedan. Alternatively, from the Golden Temple, taxis and auto-rickshaws are available. The journey is approximately 8 km and should take around 20 minutes, costing around ₹245.
Public Transport
To reach Sadda Pind via public transport, start from the Amritsar Bus Stand, which is well-connected to major cities in Punjab. From there, take a local bus towards Guru Nanak Dev University. Sadda Pind is located behind the university, and you can easily find an auto-rickshaw or taxi for the final short distance. The bus fare will be approximately ₹20-₹30, and the auto-rickshaw fare should be around ₹50-₹70.
