  • Ferry

    The primary way to reach Little Andaman is by government-operated ferry from Port Blair. Ferries depart from Phoenix Bay Jetty or Haddo Wharf in Port Blair and arrive at Hut Bay Jetty in Little Andaman. The journey takes approximately 6-8 hours, depending on the ferry type and weather conditions. Tickets can be purchased at the STARS ticket counter or authorized Common Service Centres (CSCs) in Port Blair. It is highly recommended to book tickets in advance, especially during peak season. Ferry tickets for non-islanders range from ₹680-₹2025. From Hut Bay Jetty, you can hire a jeep or auto-rickshaw to reach your desired location on the island.

  • Public Transport

    From Hut Bay Jetty, local buses operated by the State Transport Services (STS) are available to travel to different villages on the island. Fares range from ₹20-₹40. However, these buses may not go directly to the beaches or tourist attractions. Ask locals for the bus schedule. You can wave to the driver to stop and pick you up.

  • Taxi/Auto-rickshaw

    Upon arrival at Hut Bay Jetty, auto-rickshaws and public jeeps are readily available for hire. A jeep ride to your resort from the jetty may cost around ₹100 per person. For shorter trips, auto-rickshaws may charge between ₹10-₹50.
