From Guwahati, you can take a public bus to Kaziranga National Park. Head to the Guwahati Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) and look for buses heading to Kohora or Bokakhat, which are the nearest towns to the park. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the ticket price ranges from INR 300 to INR 500. The journey will take approximately 6-7 hours. Once you arrive in Kohora or Bokakhat, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach the park entrance.

Another option is to travel by train. You can take a train from Guwahati to Furkating Railway Station, which is the nearest railway station to Kaziranga National Park. The journey takes about 4-5 hours. Once at Furkating, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to Kaziranga, which is about 20 km away. Train tickets vary in price depending on the class of travel, ranging from INR 200 to INR 700.

In addition to public buses, shared taxis are a common way to reach Kaziranga. You can find shared taxi services at various points in Guwahati.
