Car

If you are traveling by car from Kaziranga National Park, start your journey from the Kohora area (the central zone of Kaziranga). Head south on the National Highway 37 (NH37) and follow the road signs towards Tezpur. Continue driving for approximately 40 km until you reach the town of Tezpur. Once you reach Tezpur, look for the signs directing you to Mahabhairab, where Agnigarh View Point is located. From the center of Tezpur, take the Unnamed Road (JR82+XX7) heading towards the view point, which is a short drive away. The total travel time is approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation

To reach Agnigarh View Point via public transportation, you can take a bus or shared taxi from Kaziranga to Tezpur. Buses frequently leave from the main bus stand in Kohora. Ask for a bus heading to Tezpur; the fare is usually around ₹50-₹100, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Tezpur, you can hire an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to take you to Agnigarh View Point, which is approximately 10 km away from the Tezpur bus station. The auto-rickshaw fare should be around ₹150-₹200. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
