Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey by heading to the nearest metro station. If you are in central Bengaluru, the MG Road Metro Station is a good starting point. Take the Purple Line towards Baiyappanahalli. You'll need to alight at the Kempegowda Metro Station (also known as Majestic). This will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Kempegowda Station, follow the signs to transfer to the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus terminal located adjacent to the metro station.

    At the BMTC bus terminal, look for buses heading towards Bannerghatta. The buses you can take include 365, 366, and 368. The bus ride to Bannerghatta Zoo will take about 1 hour, depending on traffic. Make sure to pay attention to the destination signs on the buses.
