Ragigudda Sri Prasanna Anjaneyaswami Temple: A Spiritual Hilltop Retreat

Ragigudda Sri Prasanna Anjaneyaswami Temple, located in the Jayanagar suburb of Bengaluru, is a prominent spiritual and cultural landmark. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is situated on a hillock, offering a tranquil and scenic environment for devotees and visitors alike. The temple's history dates back to 1969 when a group of Hanuman devotees established a small temple on the hillock. The temple trust provides affordable education and healthcare to the less privileged, runs a Gaushala (cow shed), and organizes cultural events. The annual Hanuman Jayanti festival is a major highlight, drawing large crowds and featuring elaborate rituals, processions, and community meals.
