Getting There

  • Public Bus

    If you're starting from MG Road, head to the nearest bus stop, which is Brigade Road. From there, catch a bus heading towards Mathikere. The bus number you should look for is 335 or 335E. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the IISc (Indian Institute of Science) stop. Once you get off at IISc, you will see the main gate. Walk through the gate and follow the path that leads to the IISC Main Building, where the J.N. Tata Statue is located.

  • Metro and Walk

    If you are near the MG Road Metro Station, take the Purple Line towards Mysore Road. After about three stops, get off at the Indiranagar Metro Station. From there, take a local auto-rickshaw or a taxi to IISc Main Building. The drive should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the IISc campus, walk towards the main building; the J.N.
