Getting There

Bus

Start your journey from the Bhopal Habibganj Railway Station or the Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT). From the ISBT, take a bus heading towards Sanchi. Look for buses with 'Sanchi' written on them, which usually depart every hour. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they will stop at Sanchi. The drop-off point will be near the Sanchi Stupa complex.
Auto Rickshaw

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take an auto-rickshaw from the ISBT or any major location in Bhopal. Negotiate the fare beforehand. The ride to Sanchi will take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to take you directly to the Sanchi Stupa, which is well-known and should be familiar to them.

You can also take a train from Bhopal Junction to Sanchi. Check the train schedule in advance as there may be limited services. Once you arrive at Sanchi railway station, you can take an auto-rickshaw or a local bus to reach the Sanchi Stupa, which is around 10-15 minutes away from the station.
