Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Bhopal Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Hoshangabad Road). Walk straight for about 1.3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the A.B. Road. Turn left onto A.B. Road and continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Van Vihar Road. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Van Vihar National Park. Continue on Van Vihar Road, which will lead you directly to the Upper Lake View Point at Van Vihar National Park.

  • Public Bus

    From the Bhopal Bus Stand (Isbt), take a bus heading towards Shymala Hills or Van Vihar. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Van Vihar National Park. After getting off, walk along Van Vihar Road for about 500 meters, following the signs to Upper Lake View Point. The walk will take you through a scenic route, and you will soon find yourself at the viewpoint.

  • Auto-Rickshaw

    You can hire an auto-rickshaw from any central location in Bhopal. Ask the driver to take you to Upper Lake View Point at Van Vihar National Park. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.
