The Regional Science Center (RSC) in Bhopal, established in 1995, stands as a prominent science and technology hub in Madhya Pradesh. As one of the units of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), it's dedicated to popularizing science through interactive exhibits and educational programs. The RSC's campus spans five acres and includes over 266 exhibits covering various scientific disciplines. The Hall of Energy showcases different forms of energy, while the Atmosphere Gallery highlights the importance of our atmosphere. A unique Science Park, spread across three acres, features over 60 outdoor exhibits, including pulley demonstrations, windmills, and solar-powered devices. Visitors can also explore a Dinosaur Park and a small zoo.The center also houses a planetarium that offers shows about stars and constellations. There is also a 3D science show that explores the movements of planets and moons. The RSC regularly hosts events like sky observation programs, science fairs, and workshops. The Mobile Science Exhibition bus travels to remote villages to spread scientific awareness.
