Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Mumbai using NH 48 or the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, depending on your starting point in Central India. Once you reach Mumbai, navigate to Mumbai Central Station Main Entry Road. The exact location of the Indian Flag is at XR9C+R27, just outside the main entry of the Mumbai Central Station. Look for parking options nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from INR 30 to INR 100 per hour.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest railway station to Mumbai. Major stations in Central India, such as Nagpur, Jabalpur, or Bhopal, have frequent trains to Mumbai. Once you arrive at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus or Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, you can take a local train or a taxi to reach Mumbai Central Station. Local train fares are generally quite economical, around INR 10 to INR 30 depending on the distance.

• Bus

  Another option is to take a long-distance bus to Mumbai. Various private and government buses operate from cities in Central India to Mumbai. Once you arrive at a bus terminal in Mumbai, like Dadar or CST, you can take a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to get to Mumbai Central Station. Bus fares can range from INR 500 to INR 1500 depending on the service type.

• Taxi/Auto-Rickshaw

  Once you are in Mumbai, you can easily use taxis or auto-rickshaws to reach the Indian Flag location. From any point in the city, simply tell the driver to take you to Mumbai Central Station Main Entry Road. Be prepared to pay around INR 50 to INR 300 based on the distance and traffic conditions.
