Taxis are readily available from Ukhimath. Expect to pay around INR 1500-2000 for a taxi from Ukhimath to Chopta. During winter, roads may be closed due to snow.

    To reach Chopta by air, fly to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. From the airport, hire a taxi to Chopta, approximately 220 km away. Taxis are easily available from the airport.
