Take the Yellow Line Metro towards HUDA City Centre. Alight at the 'Khan Market' station. From Khan Market, exit the station and head towards the main road. You can find auto-rickshaws or cycle-rickshaws right outside the metro station. Take a rickshaw to the Delhi Zoo, which is approximately 4 km away. The rickshaw will take you through the busy streets until you reach the entrance of the Zoo located on Mathura Rd.

Find a local bus stop and take a bus that goes to 'Sundar Nagar' or 'Mathura Road.' Buses like the number 405 or 427 frequently run through this route. Once you board the bus, pay attention to the stops, and alight at the 'Delhi Zoo' stop. The zoo entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are staying close to the Delhi Zoo, simply walk towards Mathura Rd. Look for signage directing you to the National Zoological Park. The entrance is well-marked and it is a pleasant walk through the area. Be sure to stay on the footpaths and watch for traffic.
