If you are driving from Guwahati, take NH6 towards Shillong. The distance is approximately 100 km and takes about 3 hours. Once you reach Shillong, follow the signs to Mawlai and then to Upper Shillong. The Elephant Falls is located in Upper Shillong, about 12 km from the city center. Look for signage as you approach the falls, which is situated on the right side of the road.

From Guwahati, take a bus to Shillong from the Paltan Bazar bus stand. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the Shillong bus station, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to Elephant Falls. The taxi ride will take around 30 minutes and cost approximately INR 300-400. Look for local buses heading towards Upper Shillong, which will drop you off near the falls.
