Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Calangute Beach, head towards the North Goa region. From Panaji, take the NH66 highway towards Mapusa, then follow the signs to Calangute. Once you reach Calangute, look for Calangute Beach Road. There are multiple parking options available along the road, but be prepared to pay a fee that can range from ₹20 to ₹100, depending on the duration of your parking.

• Public Bus

  You can catch a public bus to Calangute from major locations such as Panaji or Mapusa. Buses leave regularly from the Panaji bus stand to Calangute. The fare is typically around ₹30 to ₹50. Once you arrive at the Calangute bus stop, it's a short walk to the beach, following the signs towards Calangute Beach Road.

• Taxi

  For a more convenient option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Goa. If you're coming from Panaji or Mapusa, the taxi fare will be around ₹500 to ₹800. Ensure the driver knows your destination by stating 'Calangute Beach Road, Umtav Vado'. Taxis can drop you off directly at the beach area.

• Auto Rickshaw

  Auto rickshaws are available throughout Goa and can be a fun way to reach Calangute Beach. If you're near a bus stop or hotel, you can easily find one. The fare from nearby locations like Candolim or Baga Beach should be around ₹100 to ₹300, depending on the distance. Always negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
