If you are driving from popular beaches like Colva or Benaulim, head north on NH66 towards Margao. Continue on NH66 for about 14 kilometers until you reach the fork near Navelim. Take the left exit onto the road leading to Quepem. Follow the signs to Quepem Dam, which is approximately 8 kilometers from the fork. The total drive should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app for accurate navigation.

To reach Quepem Dam using public transportation, find a local bus from your beach area to Margao. The buses are frequent and usually cost around ₹20-₹30. Once you arrive at Margao bus station, you can catch another bus heading to Quepem, which will cost about ₹15-₹25. The bus journey may take around 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Quepem, you can either walk to the dam, which is about 3 kilometers away, or hire a local auto-rickshaw for around ₹50-₹100.
