Road
From Panaji, drive approximately 70 km via NH 748 to Kulem. From Kulem, proceed via jeep safari. The jeep safari, arranged by the Goa Forest Department, takes you through Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary to the base of the falls. The jeep ride is roughly 12 km and can be a bumpy, yet thrilling experience. Typical costs: * Jeep safari: ₹2800 per jeep (seats 7). * Life jacket rental (compulsory): ₹30 per person. * Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary entry fee: ₹50 per person.
Train
Take a train to Kulem Railway Station, the closest rail access. From major cities like Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore, take a train to Madgaon and then a local train to Kulem. From Kulem, hire a jeep to reach Dudhsagar Falls through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. Typical costs from Madgaon to Kulem by train: under ₹50. Alternatively, trek from Kulem along the railway tracks (11 km), but be aware that walking on the tracks is officially banned and can be risky.
