Chakreshwar Temple: A Blend of Divinity and History

A vertical pillar indicates the height reached by the Brahmaputra River during floods, featuring a sculpture of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. The temple is generally open from sunrise to sunset, allowing devotees to offer prayers and participate in rituals. Shivaratri, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is celebrated with great devotion at the Chakreshwar Temple. Special pujas and prayers are offered on this auspicious day. The temple's architecture is relatively simple, exuding an atmosphere of peace. The main sanctum sanctorum houses the Shivalinga, while the surrounding area provides space for devotees to gather.
