Walking
If you are near the Kamakhya Temple, walking to the viewpoint is a simple option. From the temple entrance, follow the well-trodden path leading up the hill. The walk takes approximately 15 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
From Guwahati Railway Station or the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT), take a bus or auto-rickshaw to the Kamakhya Temple. From there, it is a 15 minute walk to Kamakhya View Point. Bus fares from the railway station to the Kamakhya Gate area typically range from ₹30-₹40. Auto-rickshaws may charge around ₹100-₹150 for the same route.
Taxi/Ride-share
