Auto Rickshaw
If you are in the city center, head to the nearest auto rickshaw stand. You can ask for 'Sarania Hills' or 'Gandhi Mandap.' The ride will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver to drop you off at the base of Sarania Hills where you can find the pathway leading to Gandhi Mandap.
Bus
Locate a nearby bus stop and take a local bus that goes towards Sarania Hills. Look for buses labeled 'Guwahati to Sarania Hills' or similar routes. Upon reaching the Sarania Hills area, you’ll need to get off and walk up the hill. Follow the road signs directing you to Gandhi Mandap, which is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are already near Sarania Hills, you can walk there. Start from the nearest landmark, like the Uzan Bazar area. Head towards Sarania Hills, following the main road. Once you reach the base of the hill, look for the stairs or a pathway leading up to Gandhi Mandap. It’s a scenic walk, but be prepared for some steep inclines.
