If you are traveling by car, head towards the center of Hampi. From the Virupaksha Temple, take the road leading to the Hampi Bazaar. Continue straight until you reach the main junction. Turn left onto the road leading to Anegundi. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will come across a sign for Elephant Rock on your right. Follow the dirt path indicated by the sign for another 1 kilometer until you reach the site. Ensure you have a map or GPS enabled to assist you as some paths may not be well-marked.

To reach Elephant Rock using public transport, start from the Virupaksha Temple area where you can find local auto-rickshaws. Negotiate with the driver for a ride to Anegundi, which should cost around INR 300-400. Inform the driver that you want to visit Elephant Rock. The drive will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Anegundi, the driver may drop you off at the entrance of a road leading to the rock. From there, you might need to walk about 1 kilometer along a dirt path to reach the rock itself.
