If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Kullu. From Kullu, take NH3 towards Manali. After approximately 40 km, look for the sign for the Great Himalayan National Park. Follow the road signs leading you to Gushaini, which is the main entry point for the park. Once you reach Gushaini, you will find parking areas available. Note that the road to the park can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

To reach Great Himalayan National Park using public transportation, you can take a bus from Kullu to Gushaini. Buses leave frequently from Kullu's main bus stand and the journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Gushaini, you can hire a local taxi or walk to the park entry point, which is approximately 3 km from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service can be limited, especially on weekends.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Kullu or Manali. It is advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand. The taxi can take you directly to Gushaini, and from there, you can walk to the park entrance.
