Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Take NH7 towards Mussoorie. Once you reach Mussoorie, continue on the road towards Kempty Falls. From Kempty Falls, take the road leading to Kaflani. The drive will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Make sure to follow the signs to Kaflani, Uttarakhand 263679. Parking is available near the mountain base.

Public Transportation
To reach Lesser Himalaya via public transportation, board a bus from Dehradun to Mussoorie at the Dehradun bus station. The journey takes about 1 hour. From Mussoorie, you can find shared taxis or local buses heading towards Kempty Falls. Once you arrive at Kempty Falls, hire a local taxi or a jeep to reach Kaflani, which will take another 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions. Expect to pay around ₹150-₹300 for the taxi ride from Kempty Falls to Kaflani.
