Walking
If you are starting from the Imphal Municipal Corporation Office (located at Naga Manjil, Imphal), head east on MG Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Tiddim Road. Turn left onto Tiddim Road and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the Manipur State Museum on your right, just past the Kangla Fort entrance.

From Imphal city center, locate the nearest bus stop and take a local bus heading towards Kangla or the Manipur State Museum. The bus fare is minimal, typically around ₹10-₹20. Request the conductor to drop you off at Kangla Fort. After disembarking, walk towards the museum, which is adjacent to the fort and clearly marked.

Auto Rickshaw
Flag down an auto rickshaw in Imphal city and tell the driver you want to go to the Manipur State Museum near Kangla Fort. The fare should be around ₹30-₹50 depending on your starting point. The driver will take you directly to the museum entrance, which is very close to the fort.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Imphal. Start from the city center, cycling along MG Avenue towards Tiddim Road. After approximately 1.5 km, turn left onto Tiddim Road. Continue cycling for another 500 meters until you see the Manipur State Museum on your right side.
