Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of Imphal, start at the Ima Keithel Market (Women's Market). From there, head east on MG Avenue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Khwairakpam Road. Turn left onto Khwairakpam Road and continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the Kongba Laishram Leikai area, which is where East Garden is located. Once you reach the junction near the Kongba Laishram Leikai, look for the sign indicating East Garden, which should be within a short walk from this point.

• Public Transport (Auto-Rickshaw)

  From any central location in Imphal, you can take an auto-rickshaw to East Garden. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to Kongba Laishram Leikai. The ride usually takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you should look for the entrance to East Garden, which is well-marked. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand or ask the driver to use the meter.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop near the Imphal main market. Start by cycling along MG Avenue heading east for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach Khwairakpam Road. Turn left and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. You will navigate through the vibrant streets of Imphal, passing local shops and residential areas. As you approach Kongba Laishram Leikai, keep an eye out for signage indicating East Garden.
