Getting There

• Car

There is parking available near the Rock Garden.

• Train

  You can take a train to Chandigarh from various cities in the Indo-Gangetic Plain, such as Delhi or Amritsar. The Chandigarh Railway Station is well connected and a major hub. Once you arrive at the station, you can take a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to the Rock Garden, which is approximately a 15-minute drive (around 6 km). The taxi fare would typically range from ₹150 to ₹250.

• Public Bus

  For a budget-friendly option, you can take a state-run bus to Chandigarh from nearby cities like Delhi, Ludhiana, or Amritsar. Buses frequently depart from major bus terminals, and the fare is generally between ₹300 to ₹600 depending on your departure city. Once you reach the Chandigarh Bus Stand, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach the Rock Garden, which is about 4 km away.

• Metro (if available)

  If you are near a city with metro connectivity (like Delhi), you can take the metro to the nearest station that connects to Chandigarh. From the Chandigarh metro station, you can take an auto-rickshaw or taxi to the Rock Garden, which is approximately 7 km away. The auto-rickshaw fare would be around ₹100-₹150.
