Getting There

  • Rickshaw

    If you are staying in the central area of Jaipur, simply hail a cycle rickshaw or an auto-rickshaw. Tell the driver 'Jantar Mantar, Gangori Bazaar.' The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the Jantar Mantar will be right in front of you, across from the entrance of the J.D.A. Market.

    If you are near the City Palace, you can walk to Jantar Mantar. Exit the City Palace and head towards the main road (Jalebi Chowk). Turn left onto the road and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the Jantar Mantar on your left, just past the J.D.A. Market entrance.

    From the Sindhi Camp bus station, take a bus that goes towards Badi Choupad. Ask the conductor to drop you at the Jantar Mantar stop. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After getting off, walk towards the entrance of the J.D.A. Market, and you will find Jantar Mantar directly ahead.
