Rickshaw
To reach the Jaisalmer War Museum from the city center, you can take a rickshaw. Start at the Jaisalmer Fort, and inform the driver to take you to the War Museum in Thaiyat. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. The rickshaw will travel along the main road, passing local shops and restaurants. As you approach, look for signs indicating the museum's location.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to the Jaisalmer War Museum from the city center. Begin at the Jaisalmer Fort and head towards the main road. Walk east along the main street until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Thaiyat. Continue straight on this road for about 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for directional signs for the museum; it will be on your left.
Local Bus
You can also take a local bus from the city center to Thaiyat. Head to the nearest bus stand, which is usually located near the Jaisalmer Fort. Look for a bus going towards Thaiyat or the Jaisalmer War Museum. Once on the bus, the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to the museum, and follow the signs that lead you to the entrance.
