If you're starting from the Jaisalmer Fort, exit the fort through the main entrance and head towards the main road. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Gandhi Chowk Road. Turn left onto Gandhi Chowk Road. Continue walking for another 300 meters. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Badal Mahal is located on your right side at WW85+9XP, with a prominent entrance that you will recognize. It is advisable to keep an eye out for local signposts directing you towards historical sites.

If you prefer a rickshaw, you can easily find one near the Jaisalmer Fort or any busy market area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Badal Mahal. The driver will take you to Gandhi Chowk Road. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Badal Mahal, which is at WW85+9XP. The site is a short walk from the drop-off point.
