Walking
From the main market area of Jaisalmer, head towards the direction of Sadar Bazar. Once you reach Sadar Bazar, continue walking straight until you see the sign for Jaisalmer Fort. The fort is located approximately 1 kilometer away from Sadar Bazar. Follow the signs leading you to the Amar Sagar Pol entrance of the fort.
Rickshaw
If you prefer to take a rickshaw, you can find one near any major hotel or in the main market area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Jaisalmer Fort (Khejer Para, Manak Chowk). The ride will take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, and the fare should be around 30-50 INR. The rickshaw will drop you off at the Amar Sagar Pol entrance.
Local Tour
