Getting There

Walking
From the Jammu City Center, head east towards Raghunath Bazaar. Walk straight through the bazaar until you reach the intersection at City Chowk. Here, take a left onto the Ranbir Canal Road. Continue walking along this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Bagh-e-Bahu Road. Turn right onto Bagh-e-Bahu Road and follow it for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs directing you towards the Artificial Lake Barrage. Continue walking until you reach the barrage, which will be on your left.

Bus
Start at the Jammu Bus Stand. Board a local bus heading towards Bagh-e-Bahu or the Bahu Fort area. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Ask the conductor to let you know when you reach the stop for the Artificial Lake Barrage. Once you get off the bus, walk for about 500 meters towards the river, and you will arrive at the barrage.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jammu. Start your journey from the Jammu City Center and head towards the Ranbir Canal Road.
