Auto rickshaw
From the center of Jammu (Raghunath Bazar area), you can take an auto rickshaw directly to Maha Maya Temple. Inform the driver to take you to 'Maha Maya Path'. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you at the entrance of the temple, which is located on Maha Maya Path.
Public bus
Look for a bus heading towards 'Maha Maya'. You may need to take a bus from the main bus station in Jammu. Once you board, ask the conductor to let you know when you reach the Maha Maya Temple stop. The journey may take about 30-40 minutes. After getting off, follow the signs to the temple, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are staying near the city center, you can walk to the temple. Start from Raghunath Bazar and head towards the main road (Gandhi Nagar). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Maha Maya Path. Turn left onto Maha Maya Path and continue walking for about 1.5 km. The temple will be on your right.
