Starting from Srinagar, take the NH44 road heading south towards Anantnag. The drive will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you reach Anantnag, continue on the NH44 for about 10 km, where you'll see the sign for Pahalgam. Turn left onto the Pahalgam road (NH 244) and continue for another 12 km. Liddar Valley is accessible from Pahalgam. You may need to pay a toll fee of around INR 100 on the NH44.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Srinagar, take a bus to Pahalgam. Buses depart frequently from the Batmaloo Bus Stand. The journey will take around 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive in Pahalgam, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach Liddar Valley, which is approximately 6 km from the town center. Keep in mind that the bus fare is around INR 200-300, and the local taxi fare to Liddar Valley is about INR 200-300.
