Getting There

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Pahalgam from Srinagar. The distance is approximately 90 kilometers and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Pahalgam, follow the signs to Aru. The Lidder River Valley is located about 12 kilometers from Pahalgam, in the direction of Aru. The road is well-maintained, and you will enjoy beautiful scenic views along the way.

  To reach Lidder River Valley using public transportation, first take a bus or shared taxi from Srinagar to Pahalgam. The journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours and costs approximately INR 300-500. Upon arriving in Pahalgam, you can hire a local taxi or take a shared taxi to Aru, which is about 12 kilometers away. The fare for this short trip will be around INR 200-300.

  If you prefer convenience, you can hire a local taxi directly from Srinagar to take you to Lidder River Valley.
