If you are traveling by car, start from Srinagar. Take the NH1D towards Sonamarg, which is approximately 80 km away and will take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Sonamarg, look for the road leading to the Thajiwas Glacier. Continue on this road for about 12 km until you reach the parking area near the Thajiwas Glacier, where you can leave your car. From here, you will need to trek to Vishansar Lake. The trek is about 7 km and will take roughly 3 to 4 hours. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the trek.
