Car

If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Srinagar, which is approximately 50 km away from Strawberry Valley. Take the NH 1D towards Gulmarg. This road offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Once you reach Gulmarg, follow the signs for Alva Farm Road. Strawberry Valley is located at 399F+H97, Alva Farm Road, Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir 193403. Depending on traffic, the drive should take about 2 hours.

Public Transportation

For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Srinagar to Gulmarg. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Srinagar. Once you arrive in Gulmarg, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to Strawberry Valley. The taxi ride from the Gulmarg bus station to Strawberry Valley will take around 15 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it typically costs between INR 200-300.

Walking

If you’re already in Gulmarg, you can choose to walk to Strawberry Valley. It’s about a 3 km walk from the center of Gulmarg. Head towards the Alva Farm Road and follow the path leading to Strawberry Valley. The walk is scenic and will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
