Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Kaziranga National Park, located at Kohora. Head east on the National Highway 37 (NH37) for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Kohora, and turn right onto the road leading to Camp Nampi. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Camp Nampi, located on your left. Make sure to have a GPS device or a map application handy for precise navigation.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a bus or a shared taxi from the nearest major town, which is Jorhat. Board a bus bound for Kaziranga National Park and ask the driver to drop you off at the Kohora entry point. From there, you can either take an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to reach Camp Nampi. The auto-rickshaw ride should cost around ₹100-₹150 and will take about 15 minutes to reach the camp.
