Car

If you are driving from Thiruvananthapuram city, head towards the NH66 (National Highway 66). Follow NH66 for about 15 km, then take a left onto the road leading to Edayar. Continue straight for about 5 km, passing through local villages until you reach Edayar Island. There are no tolls on this route.

Public Transportation (Bus)

From Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station, take a bus heading towards Poonthura. Buses are frequent and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Poonthura, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to take you the remaining 3 km to Edayar Island. The auto-rickshaw fare should be around INR 50-100.

Public Transportation (Train + Rickshaw)

If you are coming from a nearby city, take a train to Thiruvananthapuram Central. From there, follow the public transportation instructions above. Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly from the train station to Edayar Island, which may cost you around INR 300-400 depending on the traffic.
