Getting There

• Auto Rickshaw

  If you are in the Fort Kochi area, you can easily hire an auto rickshaw to Sunset Beach. Simply ask the driver to take you to Veli Beach, which is nearby. Make sure to provide them with the address: W6RV+6H3, Veli, Kochi, Kerala 682002. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Bus

  You can take a public bus from the Ernakulam South Railway Station to Veli. Board a bus heading towards Vypin Island and ask the conductor to let you know when to get off for Veli. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you get off, it’s a short walk to Sunset Beach. Follow the signs towards Veli Beach, and you will reach your destination.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. From the Fort Kochi area, cycle towards the Veli area, which is approximately 10 km away. Follow the main roads and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make your way to the Veli Beach area, and look for directional signs to Sunset Beach. The ride should take about 45 minutes to an hour.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to Veli, you can walk to Sunset Beach. From the nearest landmark, such as Veli Tourist Village, head towards the beach area. You will find signs leading you to Sunset Beach. The walk is pleasant and will take about 15-20 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
