If you are in the main market area of Kohima, start at the Nagaland State Museum. Head south on the NH 2 (also known as the Kohima-Dimapur Road) towards the Clock Tower. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach a junction. Turn left at the junction. Proceed on this road for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass by the Kohima War Cemetery on your left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with P35R+F79. Highland Park will be on your right.

From the Kohima Local Taxi Stand, walk towards the main road (NH 2). Head east on NH 2 for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection. Turn right and follow the road for 1 km. You will see a sign for Highland Park as you approach P35R+F79. The park entrance will be on your left.
