Walking
Start your journey from Kohima town center, specifically at the Kohima War Cemetery. From there, head northeast on the main road (NH29) towards the Dzukou Valley. Continue on this road for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a right turn onto the Aradurah Hill Road. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers, passing by local houses and green fields. As you approach the hill, you will see signs pointing towards Kuozhü View Point. The walking path will become steeper, but it's well-trodden. After another 500 meters, you will arrive at Kuozhü View Point, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Public Transport (Auto-rickshaw)
From Kohima town center, head to the nearest Auto-rickshaw stand. Inform the driver that you want to go to Aradurah Hill. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Ask to be dropped off at the junction where Aradurah Hill Road begins. From there, follow the walking directions provided earlier, which is about a 1.5-kilometer walk to the view point.
Combination (Walking and Public Transport)
You can start by walking to the Kohima War Cemetery, which is a pleasant 15-minute walk from the town center. Then, take an Auto-rickshaw from the cemetery towards Aradurah Hill. After the ride, follow the walking directions from the junction as previously mentioned. This combination allows you to enjoy both the sights of the town and the scenic ride up the hill.
