Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the Kohima War Cemetery, a notable landmark in the city. Exit the cemetery and head towards the main road (National Highway 29). Walk straight down the highway, keeping an eye out for local shops and eateries. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach a traffic circle. At the circle, take the second exit onto the road leading to the Old Secretariat area. Continue walking for about 1 km until you reach another intersection. Here, turn left onto a smaller road. Follow this road for another 500 meters, and you should see signage or local guides indicating directions to Putsolie nuca. The final destination will be a short walk from this point.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops near Kohima’s main market. Begin your ride from the market and head towards the Kohima War Cemetery. After visiting the cemetery, continue down National Highway 29. Ride for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit at the circle towards the Old Secretariat.
