If you are in the heart of Kohima, start at the Kohima Local Market (also known as the main market) which is a popular landmark. From the market, head west on the main road (Mokokchung Road). Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Kohima-Mokokchung Road. Continue straight, and you will notice a sign for Sakhrie Park on your left after approximately 1 kilometer. The park is located at M434+X74, Kohima-Mokokchung Rd, A.G. Colony. The entrance to the park is easily identifiable.

Public Transport
From the Kohima Local Market, you can take a shared auto-rickshaw heading towards Kohima-Mokokchung Road. Request the driver to drop you near Sakhrie Park. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you are dropped off, walk a short distance along the road until you see the entrance of Sakhrie Park on your left at M434+X74, Kohima-Mokokchung Rd, A.G. Colony.
