Start from the center of Kohima, near the Kohima War Cemetery. Head west on the main road (NH 29) and follow the signs towards Khonoma. It's approximately 10 kilometers from the cemetery to Khonoma village. You will encounter a gradual incline as you walk. Ensure you have adequate water and wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven in certain spots.
Trekking
Once you reach Khonoma village, ask locals for directions to Daklane. It's a well-known area, and they can guide you. From Khonoma, you will need to trek approximately 2 kilometers toward Daklane. The path is scenic but may require some physical stamina due to the hilly terrain. Look for a small trail that will lead you to the viewpoint.
